'Empire' actor Bryshere Gray arrested for assaulting his wife

Actor Bryshere Gray From “Empire” known as Hakeem Lyon was arrested on Monday morning in Arizona following the distress call from his wife.

 Actor Gray, 26, was taken into custody at 7 a.m. by officers in the Phoenix suburb of Goodyear nine hours after authorities responded to a 911 distress call from his wife. 

 According to jail records, he was arrested on suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct. He refused speaking to the police, authorities confirmed. A SWAT team and crisis negotiators were immediately dispatched to help. Gray was taken into custody without incident.
