First Ever Female Combat Pilot in Nigeria Just Died

The first ever female combat helicopter pilot in Nigerian Air Force Tolulope Arotile, 23 has died.

The Nigerian Air-force announced via their Twitter Handle that the First ever Female Combat Pilot had passed on. Tolulope Arotile died  from a head injury she sustained through a Road accident in NAF Base Kaduna.


According to NAF, she died yesterday, 14th July 2020.

Tolulope Arotile was commissioned into the Nigerian Airforce in September 2017 which made her the first and only female combat Pilot.

She has has been in active service since then and has also made tremendous contribution to many operations Like GAMA AIKI in Nothern Central States that led to the capture of many armed bandits and Terrorists. 

She will be missed. She was only 23!
